1, Material selection
Nickel aluminum bronze is an alloy with high strength, hardness, and wear resistance. Choosing appropriate raw materials has a significant impact on casting quality and manufacturing costs. Electrolytic copper, aluminum, and nickel are usually used as the main raw materials, and melted under a protective atmosphere after reasonable proportioning.
2, Smelting
Put the selected copper, nickel, and aluminum raw materials in a certain proportion into the furnace for melting, and continuously stir to ensure uniform alloy composition. The melting temperature is usually above 1200 ℃, and after melting, the alloy block is poured into the mold for casting.
3, Casting mold
Suitable molds are selected for casting products of different shapes and sizes, usually using sand casting technology. Use gypsum molds to create a highly polished cavity, and pour molten alloy into the cavity.
4, Sandwich and sand core
In order to avoid defects or local unevenness in the product, it is necessary to insert some sandwich or sand cores during the casting process. Sandwich can be filled in the remaining gaps of the alloy in the mold to enhance the overall strength of the product; Sand cores can be placed in the mold cavity to increase the strength and toughness of the product cavity.

5, Cleaning up
After the casting is completed, a series of cleaning work needs to be carried out. Cleaning mainly includes removing casting scratches, burrs, hair particles and other impurities that protrude from the surface, making the product surface smooth and defect free, in order to proceed to the next step of treatment.
6, Heat treatment
For nickel aluminum bronze alloys, heat treatment is a crucial step. By controlling different temperatures, times, and atmospheres, the mechanical properties and corrosion resistance of the product can be improved. Generally, aging treatment is used to improve the hardness and strength of the product while maintaining relatively good toughness.
7, Other precautions
1. Control the casting temperature to avoid excessive or insufficient temperature, which may affect the alloy composition and structure.
2. Ensure that casting operations are strictly carried out in accordance with standards to avoid problems such as mold expansion, uneven solidification, and surface defects.
3. For products with special shapes, mold flow analysis is required to predict possible issues such as gaps, warping, and shrinkage.
4. When cleaning and heat treatment, corresponding safety operating procedures should be followed to avoid danger caused by high working temperature or inappropriate atmosphere.
