Long shaft submersible pump is a widely used pump equipment in the industrial field, which can transport low-level liquids and has been recognized by many customers. However, it also has some shortcomings. If not maintained properly during use, it often produces significant vibration and noise. The reasons for the loud noise generated during pump operation are as follows.
1. One of the causes of vibration is the damage to the bearings of the long shaft pump. It is important to carefully identify the problem and replace the bearings with new ones.
2. The large shaking amplitude of the impeller of the long shaft pump can also cause vibration and noise.
3. The quality and other aspects of the long shaft pump have deteriorated due to the unreasonable design of the inlet channel, resulting in vortex formation. It will cause vibration of the pump. Uneven settlement of the foundation supporting the submersible pump and motor can also cause vibration.
4. The cavitation of long shaft pumps and the rapid changes in pressure inside the conveying pipeline can also cause vibration and noise.
5. In terms of machinery, the rotating components of the fiberglass submersible pump are unbalanced in quality, poorly manufactured, poorly installed, the unit axis is asymmetric, the swing exceeds the allowable value, the mechanical strength and stiffness of the components are poor, and the bearings and sealing components are worn and damaged, all of which will produce strong vibrations.
6. In terms of electrical aspects, if the motor is internally unbalanced or the system is out of balance, it often causes vibration and noise.
