Application And Introduction Of Various Valves Of Chemical Pump

The valve of chemical pump is a device used to control fluid flow, pressure and flow direction. This paper introduces the standards and types of valves used in several devices, including valves used in polypropylene devices. Polypropylene is a high molecular compound polymerized with propylene as raw material. The device mainly needs gate valve, stop valve, check valve, needle valve, ball valve and drain valve.

Types of valves for chemical pumps

Valves for ethylene plant: ethylene plant is the leading device of petrochemical industry, which needs a wide variety of valves. Gate valve, globe valve, check valve and lifting rod ball valve account for the majority, among which gate valve shall take the lead. Large ethylene and high-pressure polyethylene plants also need ultra-high temperature, lower temperature and ultra-high pressure valve series products.

Valves for air separation unit: "air separation" means air separation. The unit mainly needs stop valve, safety valve, check valve, regulating valve, ball valve, butterfly valve and low-temperature valve.

Valves for oil refining units: most of the valves required for oil refining units are pipeline valves, mainly gate valves, globe valves, check valves, safety valves, ball valves, butterfly valves and steam traps. Among them, the demand for gate valves accounts for about 80% of the total number of valves and valves account for 3% ~ 5% of the total investment of the unit.

Valves for synthetic ammonia plant: due to different synthetic ammonia raw materials and purification methods, their process flow is different, and the technical performance of the required valves is also different. At present, domestic synthetic ammonia plants mainly need gate valve, stop valve, check valve, drain valve, butterfly valve, ball valve, diaphragm valve, regulating valve, needle valve, safety valve and high temperature and low temperature valve. Among them, the stop valve accounts for 53.4% of the total data of valves used in the device, the gate valve accounts for 25.1%, the drain valve accounts for 7.7%, the safety valve accounts for 2.4%, and the regulating valve, low temperature valve and others account for 11.4%

Valves for chemical fiber devices: chemical fiber products mainly include polyester, acrylic and vinylon. The required valves include ball valve, jacketed valve, jacketed ball valve, jacketed gate valve and jacketed stop valve.

Valves for acrylonitrile unit: the unit generally needs valves produced according to API standards, mainly including gate valve, stop valve, check valve, ball valve, drain valve, needle valve and plug valve. Among them, gate valve accounts for about 75% of the total number of valves.
