The basic structure of pipeline pump is composed of six parts: impeller, pipeline pump body, pump shaft, bearing, sealing ring and stuffing box.
1. Impeller is the core part of centrifugal pump. It has high speed and output, and the blades on the impeller play a major role. The impeller should pass the static balance test before assembly. The inner and outer surfaces of the impeller shall be smooth to reduce the friction loss of water flow.
2. Pipe pump body, also known as pump shell, is the main body of water pump. It plays a supporting and fixing role and is connected with the bracket for installing the bearing.
3. The function of the pipeline pump shaft is to connect with the motor through the coupling to transmit the torque of the motor to the impeller, so it is the main component to transmit mechanical energy.
4. Bearing is a component sleeved on the pump shaft to support the pump shaft, including rolling bearing and sliding bearing. The rolling bearing uses butter as lubricant, and the oil filling shall be appropriate. Generally, the volume is 2 / 3 ~ 3 / 4. Too much will heat, too little will make noise and heat! The sliding bearing uses transparent oil as lubricant, and add oil to the oil level line. Too much oil will seep along the pump shaft and drift cheap, and too few bearings will overheat and burn out, resulting in accidents! During the operation of the water pump, the temperature of the bearing is 85 degrees, generally about 60 degrees. If it is high, find out the reason (whether there are impurities, whether the oil is black, whether there is water) and deal with it in time!
5. Sealing ring is also called leakage reducing ring. The clearance between the impeller inlet and the pump shell is too large, resulting in the water in the high-pressure area in the pump flowing to the low-pressure area through this clearance, affecting the water output of the pump and reducing the efficiency! Too small clearance will cause friction and wear between impeller and pump housing. In order to increase the backflow resistance, reduce internal leakage and delay the service life of the impeller and pump housing, a sealing ring is installed at the joint of the inner edge of the pump housing and the external aid of the impeller, and the sealing gap should be kept between 0.25 ~ 1.10mm.
6. The stuffing box is mainly composed of packing, water seal ring, packing cylinder, packing gland and water seal pipe. The function of the stuffing box is mainly to close the gap between the pump shell and the pump shaft, so as to prevent the water in the pump from flowing outside and the outside air from entering the pump. Always maintain a vacuum in the water pump! When the heat generated by the friction between the pump shaft and the packing depends on the water seal pipe to hold the water in the water seal ring to cool the packing! Maintain the normal operation of the water pump. Therefore, special attention should be paid to the inspection of stuffing box during the patrol inspection of water pump operation! The packing shall be replaced after 600 hours of operation.
