1. Inspection of power supply and wires
Because the low-voltage power supply line is relatively long, it is common for the voltage at the end of the line to be too low. At this time, it is inconvenient to start up and run, and it is necessary to meet the corresponding indicators. During the operation of the submersible pump, the operator must observe the power supply voltage value at any time. If it is lower than 10% of the rated voltage and higher than 10% of the rated voltage, the motor should be stopped to find out the cause and eliminate the fault.
2. Do some necessary checks before the pump runs
Whether the rotation of the pump shaft is normal and whether there is a stuck phenomenon; whether the position of the impeller is normal; whether the cables and cable plugs are cracked, scratched or broken, etc. During operation, pay attention to observe the change of the voltage, and generally control it within the range of ±5% of the rated voltage. In addition, the position of the submersible pump in the water is very important. It should be selected as much as possible in a place with abundant water, no silt, and good water quality. It is suspended vertically in the water, and it is not allowed to be placed horizontally, so as to avoid falling into the mud or blocking the pump inlet by suspended matter. As a result, the water output has dropped sharply or even cannot be pumped.
3. Avoid frequent switching
Do not switch on and off the submersible pump frequently, this is because backflow will occur when the electric pump stops, and if it is turned on immediately, the motor load will start, resulting in excessive starting current and burning out the windings. Due to the large current at startup, frequent startup will also burn out the submersible pump motor windings. Do not overload to avoid damage to equipment.
4. Do not need to pay attention to maintenance for a long time
If the submersible pump is not used for a long time, the submersible pump should be lifted out of the pool in time, and the accumulated water in the pump should be drained, especially in winter, to avoid freezing damage to the equipment. Then place it in a dry place. If necessary, apply butter to the key parts of the pump and add lubricating oil to the bearing to prevent the parts from rusting. And when it is not used for a long time, it should be run after a period of time to avoid the failure of parts.
