The structure of civil water pumps is relatively simple, mainly composed of components such as motors, pump bodies, impellers, and seals. Civil pumps often use materials such as plastic and cast iron, which have relatively low manufacturing costs and are suitable for civilian use. Plastic has excellent corrosion resistance, is not easy to age, and is lightweight. It is also easy to process into various shapes and structures, and is favored by manufacturers in civil pumps.
The main application scenarios of industrial water pumps include cooling circulation, solution transportation, water supply, fire water supply and sewage treatment, etc. Generally speaking, multiple industrial pumps form a complete water supply system to complete industrial applications. For example, civilian water pumps usually only require one or two pumps to complete the water supply work.
Due to the relatively high system pressure, industrial water pumps have higher requirements for durability and service life, so the materials used are better than those used in civilian pumps and they are also heavier; For the convenience of manual installation and maintenance, civilian pumps are made of lighter materials, so their durability and lifespan are not comparable to industrial pumps.
