Horizontal Pipeline Centrifugal Pump Installation

Horizontal pipeline centrifugal pump is a very common water transport equipment, often used in industrial production and agricultural irrigation water transport. This phenomenon is also frequently seen in various water supply systems in cities. Below we will briefly introduce the installation method of  horizontal pipeline centrifugal pump.

During installation, follow the following precautions.

 

1. Before installation, check the basic size, position, height, etc., and confirm the integrity of the pump;

 

2. When installing the water inlet pipe, the horizontal part should be slightly inclined relative to the direction of the water source, do not tilt horizontally or upward to prevent air from entering the water pipe;

 

3. According to the different transportation medium, the water inlet position of the water inlet pipe should be kept at a certain distance from the bottom and wall of the pool. For example, when transporting mud, sand and sewage, the water intake must be far away from the pool and the diameter should be 1.5 times the distance.

 

4.Horizontal pipeline centrifugal pump inlet need to install eccentric reducer pipe, can not be directly connected with the elbow.

 

5. For the water inlet pipe with the bottom valve, its end must be kept vertical, otherwise the valve will not be closed, resulting in water leakage.
