How To Maintain Agricultural Water Pumps in Winter?

Dec 22, 2024

1. After the water pump is stopped, be sure to drain all the water stored in the pump and pipeline to avoid water accumulation or freezing that may cause the water pipe or pump body to freeze and crack after the temperature drops.
2. Clean the rust on the bent pipes or bottom valves of the water pump with a wire brush, apply paint, and store them in the machine room or a ventilated and dry place after drying.
3. Check the ball bearings. If the inner and outer sleeves are worn, loose, or have spots on the surface, they must be replaced with new ones.
4. For some agricultural water pumps with V-belt transmission, the V-belt should be removed and cleaned, and placed in a ventilated, dry, or sunless place. Avoid placing it in areas with corrosive substances or oil stains.
5. Clean the removed screws with diesel, apply lubricating oil, reinstall or wrap them with plastic cloth to prevent rusting or loss.
