The reasons for severe vibration of water pumps include unbalanced electric rotors, poor coupling, worn and bent bearings, loose or broken rotating parts, and unstable pipeline supports. Measures such as adjustment, repair, reinforcement, straightening, and replacement can be taken to handle it separately.
1. Pipeline leakage or air leakage may be due to loose screw caps during installation.
If the leakage is not severe, apply cement, wet mud, or soft soap to the leaking or leaking area. If there is water leakage at the joint, the screw cap can be tightened by hand, and if the leakage is severe, it must be disassembled and reassembled.
2. Overheating of the packing is often caused by the packing being pressed too tightly, cooling water not entering the packing, or damage to the shaft surface.
Appropriate measures can be taken to loosen the packing and clean the blockage of the sealing tube. If the packing wears out, it must be replaced with a new one. Before installation, it needs to be soaked in engine oil and installed in circles. The incisions should be staggered to reduce water leakage. After the last round of packing is installed, the pressure cover should be tightened, and the tightness should be adjusted during operation.
3. The reasons why the water pump does not suck or discharge water are often due to the stuck bottom valve, clogged filtering part, high suction height, or leakage of suction water. It may also be caused by incorrect steering, blocked impeller flow channel, etc.
After checking one by one, measures such as repairing the bottom valve, removing blockages, correcting the steering, and cleaning the impeller can be taken for treatment
