(1) Empty the water in the pump, and add water when used to prevent the pump from freezing and cracking the pump.

(2) To avoid this phenomenon, in the winter, when not used for a long time, it is necessary to close the import and export valves, open the drainage device of the circulating pump, and empty the pump. The pump shell is usually made of cast iron or stainless steel, and the expansion coefficient of the metal is relatively small, so the pump will expand and crack the pump shell when it freezes inside in winter.

 

(3) When starting again, it is necessary to pay attention to exhaust first, so that the pump body is filled with water, and avoid dry rotation damage to the machine seal. Check whether the pipes are blocked by ice.

 

(4) If the pump freezes, use hot water or boiling water to pour the water pump internal ice, or heat the pump shell.

 

(5) The use of thermal insulation pump. Add steam or hot water to the insulation to prevent the pump from freezing.

(6) When using a centrifugal pump, add water.

 

(7) Put the pump in a normal temperature environment, above zero can be. In the northern winter, the outdoor temperature often reaches 10-30 degrees below zero, after good maintenance, not only can extend the service life, but also can make full use of the efficiency of the pump.
