In theory, the suction bottom valve is a check valve, which ensures that the water flow can only enter the suction pipe from the pool and cannot flow back, so the suction pipe is filled with water, although the axis of the well submersible pump is higher than the working water level of the pool, but Because of the function of the suction bottom valve, the water in the suction pipe will not flow into the pool, so that the suction pipe is always filled with water, ensuring that the submersible pump for the well can be started actively and quickly.

The second measure is to use other water sources to replenish water. On the basis of the first water absorption form, a ballistic is installed behind the check valve of the water outlet pipe of the submersible pump for the well, and the ballistic is connected to the open-air municipal water supply pipe or other internal water sources, and the suction pipe of the submersible pump for the well is installed. Supply water, supplement the water leaked by the bottom valve, so that the suction pipe is filled with water. The reliability of this type of water absorption is unnecessarily affected by the open water source. When the open water source is stopped for a short period of time, the water in the suction pipe may leak, so manual irrigation is required when the pump is started.

Its three forms are the continuous improvement of the second water absorption form, and the roof water tank is used to supply water to the water pump suction pipe. This form is not necessary for the open water source to stop the water, and has high reliability. It is suitable for the construction of a roof water tank. For the construction without a roof water tank, a small water tank can also be set in the pump room to supply water to the suction pipe of the submersible pump for the well.

Through the above synthesis, it can be seen that the self-irrigation water absorption mode has a high level of safety and reliability. When the self-irrigation water absorption mode cannot be adopted, the water absorption mode of the pump should be selected according to the theoretical situation of the fortification, so as to be both reliable and economical.
