During inspection, you can also manually rotate the sewage pump to see if it operates flexibly.

3, Check the usage of the motor
The motor is the heart of machinery. Only by ensuring the good operation of the motor can the vertical sewage pump operate smoothly. The first thing we need to do is to close the gate valve of the outlet pipeline, as well as the outlet pressure gauge and inlet vacuum gauge. Next, we need to jog the motor to check if the direction of rotation is correct. Then start the motor. When we observe that the sewage pump is running normally, the next thing to do is to turn on the outlet pressure gauge and the inlet vacuum pump to check if they display the appropriate pressure. Then, gradually open the gate valve and check the motor load.
4, Effective flow control
Like other sewage pumps, vertical sewage pumps also have flow requirements. For inspection and maintenance, including this aspect, we need to check whether the flow rate and head of the sewage pump are within the specified range. Only within the specified range can we ensure that the sewage pump operates at a high efficiency point. Another advantage is that it can achieve high energy-saving effects.
