What Are The Usage Methods And Precautions For Submersible Sewage Pumps

1. There are two types of installation for this series of pumps: fixed and mobile. When using fixed automatic installation, the chain cable should be threaded into two lifting ring screws or lifting plates (offset from the pump outlet, and its connection should be parallel to the pump outlet) to lift the pump up and down. Slowly and evenly slide down along the guide rail until it automatically couples into place. When using mobile installation, first cover the hose and use a chain cable to lift the electric pump up and down through two lifting rings. Be careful not to use the cable as a rope to avoid danger.
2. Measure the same and relative ground insulation resistance of the electric pump motor with a 500V megohmmeter, and the value should not be less than 2 megohms. Otherwise, the motor stator winding should be dried, and the drying temperature should not exceed 120 ℃.
3. Before using the high-efficiency sewage pump, carefully check whether the cables are damaged, whether the fasteners are loose or detached, and whether the pump is deformed or damaged during transportation, storage, and installation.
4. Pumps without self circulating cooling devices are strictly prohibited from being exposed to the water surface for long-term operation to prevent overheating and damage to the electric pump.

 

5. Do not operate the pump in a low head state for a long time (generally, the head should not be less than 60% of the rated head), and keep it within the recommended head range to prevent the electric pump from burning out the motor due to overload.
6. Efficient sewage pumps must be equipped with a fully automatic water pump control cabinet unless there are special circumstances. Do not directly connect to the power grid or use a knife switch to connect the power supply to ensure the normal operation of the electric pump.
7. The grounding wire of the casing must be strictly connected according to relevant regulations. In order to ensure personal safety during use, it is strictly prohibited to install or move people in the vicinity when the electric pump is running, in case of accidents caused by leakage of the electric pump.
8. The rotation direction of the high-efficiency sewage pump after connection is counterclockwise when viewed from the inlet. If the electric pump is reversed, simply swap any two wires in the cable to adjust the wiring position.
