1. The mud pump should be installed on a stable foundation frame or foundation and should not be loose.
2. Before starting, check and confirm:
(1) Each connecting part is firm;
(2) The rotation direction of the electric motor is correct;
(3) The clutch is flexible and reliable;
(4) The pipeline connection is firm, the sealing is reliable, and the bottom valve is flexible and effective.
3. Before starting, the suction pipe, bottom valve, and pump body should be filled with water, and the upper end of the pressure gauge buffer should be filled with oil.

4. Before starting, the piston should be reciprocated twice, and only when there is no obstruction can it be started with no load. After starting, wait for normal operation before gradually increasing the load.
5. During operation, the sand content of the mud should be regularly tested. The sand content in the mud shall not exceed 10%.
6. A mud pump with multiple speeds should be operated at different speeds during each shift, and the operating time should not be less than 30 minutes
7. Do not change speed during operation; When shifting gears is required, the pump should be stopped to shift gears.
8. During operation, if there is abnormal noise, abnormal water volume or pressure, or significant temperature rise, the pump should be stopped for inspection.

9. Under normal circumstances, the pump should be stopped when there is no load. When the pump is stopped for a long time, all the drain holes should be opened, the cylinder head should be loosened, the bottom valve drain rod should be lifted, and all the mud and sand in the pump body and pipeline should be drained.
10. When not in use for a long time, all parts should be cleaned of mud, sand, and oil stains, the lubricating oil in the crankcase should be drained completely, and rust and corrosion prevention measures should be taken.
