What regulations should be followed for the layout and installation of water pump units?
The layout principle of the water pump unit is: the pipeline is short and straight, easy to connect, the layout is compact, the pump room plan size is minimized as much as possible to reduce the construction cost, and considering expansion and subsequent development, while paying attention to the convenience of lifting equipment.
When the water supply of the pump room unit exceeds 200m ³/h, the pump room should also have a repair room with an area of 10-15m ² and a warehouse with an area of 5m ². At the same time, the water pump room should be equipped with drainage facilities, good lighting and ventilation, and not prone to icing. The pump room should not be arranged adjacent to rooms with anti vibration or high requirements for quietness. The spacing between the parallel installation of water pump units should be such that disassembled motors and pump bodies can be placed between the units during maintenance.

The distance from the side of the unit foundation to the wall and adjacent foundations should not be less than 0.7m; for small pumps with a diameter less than or equal to 50mm, this distance can be appropriately reduced. The distance between the end of the water pump unit and the wall or adjacent units should be 0.5m more than the length of the shaft, and the passage between the unit and the distribution box should not be less than 1.5m. The water pump unit should be installed on an independent foundation and should not be connected to the building foundation to avoid the propagation of noise and vibration.
When the water pump is small, in order to save the pump room area, two pumps can also share the same foundation with a 0.7m channel left around. The foundation of the water pump should be at least 0.1m above the ground.
1, The clear distance between the foundations of two adjacent units;
1. The electric capacitance is less than 55KW and not less than 0.8m;

2. The motor capacity is equal to or greater than 55KW and not less than 1.2m
2, When considering on-site maintenance, at least leave a channel on one side of each unit that is 0.5m wider than the width of the water pump unit;
3, The net distance between the protruding parts of adjacent units and the net distance between the protruding parts and the wall should ensure that the pump shaft and motor rotor can be disassembled during maintenance, and should not be less than 0.7m. If the motor capacity is greater than 55KW, it should not be less than 1.0m;
4, The main channel width of the relay pump station should not be less than 1.2m;
5, The foundation of the water pump should be at least 0.15m above the ground level of the station.
