1.If there is any malfunction during the use of the water pump, remember to stop using it immediately. If the filling of the water pump shaft is worn out after use, it should be added in a timely manner. Continuing to use the water pump will cause air leakage. The direct impact of this is an increase in motor energy consumption, which can damage the impeller.

2.If the water pump experiences strong vibrations during use, it must be stopped immediately and the cause checked, otherwise it will also cause damage to the water pump.

3.When the bottom valve of the water pump leaks, some people will fill dry soil into the inlet of the water pump and flush it with water to the bottom valve. This method is not feasible because when dry soil is put into the inlet pipe and the water pump starts working, it will enter the pump and damage the impeller and bearings, which shortens the service life of the water pump. When the bottom valve leaks, it must be repaired. If the damage is severe, a new water pump needs to be replaced.

4.After using the water pump, it is necessary to pay attention to maintenance. For example, when the water pump is used up, the water in the pump should be drained completely. It is best to remove the water pipe and rinse it with clean water.

5.The tape on the water pump should also be removed, washed clean with water, and dried in a bright place. Do not place the tape in a dark and damp place. The tape on the water pump must not be stained with oil, and do not apply any sticky things on the tape.

6.Carefully check whether there are cracks on the impeller of the water pump, whether the impeller is fixed on the bearing for looseness. If there are cracks or looseness, they should be repaired in a timely manner. If there is soil on the impeller of the water pump, it should also be cleaned up.

7.The interface between the water pump and the pipeline must be sealed properly, as any debris entering can cause damage to the interior of the water pump.

8.The bearings on the water pump are also a key focus of inspection. After use, check whether the bearings are worn. If the water pump is used for a long time, the small balls in the bearings will break. Therefore, it is best to apply a layer of lubricating oil on the bearings after use to better protect the water pump bearings.
