The water pump is idling and vibrating, the sound of the pump and motor is abnormal, the outlet pressure gauge pointer drops and oscillates unpredictably, or the pressure gauge has no indication, and the ammeter returns to zero. The pipeline vibrates violently and makes a loud "ding ding" sound. This phenomenon is the emptying of the water pump, so how should we solve it?
1. Clear or use a high pump top to connect the pump inlet pipeline;
2. Check the corresponding process before starting the pump;
3. Clean the blockage at the inlet of the pump impeller;
4. Adjust the sealing packing cover to ensure that the leakage of the sealing packing is within the specified range;
5. Use hot water to heat up the oil temperature;
6. Check and clean the inlet filter cylinder, drain the gas inside the pump at the outlet, and drain the gas at the inlet of the pump at the filter cylinder.

In addition, we also need to pay attention to the maintenance of the water pump. We need to add bearing lubricating oil to the bearing body to observe that the oil level should be at the middle line of the oil gauge. The lubricating oil should be replaced or replenished in a timely manner. After 500 hours of operation, the oil immersed water pump needs to replace the sealed oil. Tap the water pump motor to see if the direction of rotation is correct. Start the water pump motor, and when the water pump is running normally, open the outlet pressure gauge.
If the pressure is suitable, gradually open the gate valve and check whether the water pump motor is under load. The oil in the water pump motor chamber should also be changed once a year. If any abnormal sound is found in the water pump, it should be stopped and the cause checked. Before stopping the water pump, the gate valve and pressure gauge must be closed before stopping the water pump motor.
