In order to effectively prevent cold and freezing in winter and cope with possible catastrophic weather, and to avoid the impact of water freezing on safety production and unnecessary losses caused by volume expansion and freezing of water pumps.

Protect the water pump
1. For the water pump that has been debugged and operated, please close the doors and windows between the equipment rooms and take measures to maintain the indoor temperature above zero degrees Celsius; If the national pump room does not have the conditions to maintain room temperature above zero degrees, or if the water pump is installed outdoors, please wrap the pump body and pipeline with insulation materials to achieve insulation.
2. For water pumps that have not been debugged, operated, or have been out of service for a long time (especially those installed outside the air), it is necessary to promptly drain the liquid from the pump body, pipelines, and water tank, and refill them before use; Our company's water pumps undergo pressure and water testing before leaving the factory. There may be a small amount of residual water in the pump chamber, which will not affect the pump after freezing. After the water melts, the pump can be used normally. However, if the pump has been installed on the equipment pipeline and may have been debugged for water supply, the liquid inside the pump also needs to be drained.
3. If the water pump or pipeline freezes, do not forcefully start or turn it. Instead, thaw it with hot water or steam first. The thawing of cast iron water pumps and pipelines should be carried out slowly, and heating in a sealed state is prohibited to prevent bursting and thawing of pipelines. Horizontal pipes should be thawed from low to high, and vertical pipes should be thawed from top to bottom.
