How To Ensure The Normal Operation Of Submersible Pumps For Wells

Submersible electric pumps are mainly composed of two types of pumps and electric motors for flood and oil. To ensure the normal operation of the electric pump, the following methods must be used.
1. Before using the water pump, the insulation resistance of the motor should be checked with a megohmmeter, and the minimum value should not be less than 5 megohms. The inspection method is to connect to the pump line, connect other terminals to the motor room, shake the megohmmeter cable terminal megohmmeter, and check the insulation resistance change.
2. Check the cable for cracks, wear, and other phenomena. If there is any damage, it should be replaced in a timely manner to prevent leakage.
3. The bolts of the flood irrigation motor should be open, tightened after cleaning the water, and then filled underwater. Discover the oil and replace the sealing components and immerse in water, then dive.
4. The front stage pump should be filled with water and air for 1-2 minutes, starting twice, checking that idle and starting are normal. If closed, on the contrary, the lines of the last two stages can be interchanged.
5. Check for cracks in the pipe and ensure that the connection is safe.
6. The water or time lift pump does not pull the cable, so the cable is damaged or the joint is disconnected.
7. The power supply voltage should be controlled within a range of no more than or less than 5% of the rated voltage. If the voltage is too high or too low, it will damage the motor.
8. The inlet pump should be vertical, not diagonal.
9. The pump shall not transport more water or sediment. The electric motor should be regularly cleaned of water soaked sand chambers and the water inside the motor chamber should be replaced.
10. The head of the pump should be within the rated head range of 0.8-1. This will improve the efficiency of the pump, save energy, avoid electrical overload operation, and extend its service life.
11. After use, the pump should be cleaned thoroughly and coated with oil on the metal surface in a dry place to prevent rust and ensure integrity. The net of the drive motor should be placed in the water inside.
