Routine acceptance procedures for fire pumps:
1. The specifications, models, and quantities of commonly used open fire pumps, reserve multi-stage fire pumps, inlet (suction) pipes, outlet pipes, and pressure relief valves on the outlet pipes, water hammer elimination facilities, check valves, signal valves, etc. should meet the design requirements; The control valves on the suction and discharge pipes should be locked in the normally open position and clearly marked. Inspection method: Carefully observe and inspect each item according to the drawing.
2. According to fire safety regulations, pipeline fire pumps should adopt self filling (reverse filling) water diversion method or other reliable water diversion measures.
3. Open each end water testing device and valve in the system separately, and ensure that the functions of signal devices such as water flow indicators and pressure switches meet the design requirements.
4. Open the water test valve on the outlet pipe of the vertical fire pump. When the fire pump is started by the main power supply, it should start normally; Turn off the main power supply, and the main and backup power supplies should be able to switch normally.

When the fire pump stops, the pressure after the water hammer elimination facility should not exceed 1.3-1.5 times the rated pressure at the pump outlet.
Inspection method: Check with a pressure gauge at the valve outlet.
6. For fire pressure boosting and stabilizing water supply equipment, when the system pressure drops to the design minimum pressure, the fire stabilizing pump should be activated through pressure change signals.
Inspection method: Use a pressure gauge and observe for inspection.
7. The start control of the fire pump should be set to automatic start mode
The four key points of fire pump acceptance:
(1) The emergency lighting and safety exits set up in the fire pump room should meet the design requirements.
(2) Fire pumps, sprinkler pumps, fire stabilizing pumps, etc. should adopt self irrigation water diversion or other reliable water diversion measures.
(3) A test drain valve and drainage pipe should be installed on the outlet pipe of the fire pump.
(4) The setting of backup power supply and automatic switching device should meet the design requirements.
