201 steel, because it does not contain nickel element, is prone to oxidation when in contact with sewage for a long time. It will rust after six months to a year of use, and the welding joints are prone to water leakage; 304 steel contains nickel element, which is not easily oxidized. Therefore, compared with 201 steel, it has better corrosion resistance, no leakage even after several years of use, beautiful appearance, and long service life.
The selection of steel pipes includes seamless steel pipes, self processed welded steel pipes, cast iron pipes, or PVC pipes. Self processing welded steel pipes will inevitably have welds, which can easily oxidize and leak over time; Seamless steel pipes are formed by one-time stamping, without welds, and have higher oxidation resistance and pressure resistance. Cast iron and PVC materials cannot match stainless steel pipes in terms of practical wear resistance, corrosion resistance, acid and alkali resistance.
The material of stainless steel can largely avoid these adverse factors. As is well known, the welding performance of stainless steel material is very outstanding, and the appearance of stainless steel material is a mirror like treatment, making the product more technological and aesthetically pleasing. The corrosion resistance of stainless steel material is also very outstanding, and the hardness of stainless steel material is stronger, making it less likely to deform after long-term use.
